Katherine Jackson, CFNP
Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Registered Nurse
Recovery is… Forgiveness.
Forgiveness is not the same as forgetting. Being able to let go and forgive yourself and others allows the processes of recovery to begin. It can inspire a new beginning to a new path and release the soul from suffering.
“The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.”

Katherine (Katie) Jackson was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM. She has tried to leave NM in the past but returns because she does truly believe that this land IS enchanted. The mountains are awe inspiring, the llanos are vast and breathtaking and the sky is like nowhere else in the world. Shhhh, New Mexico is our hidden secret!
After graduating from UNM as a Registered Nurse in 2007, she worked at the University of New Mexico Hospital on the General Pediatric Unit caring for acute and chronically ill children. Katie then dipped her fingers into community health and was a School Nurse for 2 years at Atrisco Elementary School. Wanting to provide more to her community, she went back to UNM in 2011 and received a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her first job as a NP was at Albuquerque Healthcare for the Homeless providing primary care, mental health services and substance abuse treatment for 5 years. Through specialized guidance from Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Katie became confident in assessment and treatment of those suffering from mental illness and substance use disorders.
As her career path continues at The Evolution Group she hopes to magnify the connection between the physical and mental realms of the body through treatment and care of both physical and mental health. She values the importance of physical health and its major impact on mental and emotional health
